NORTHERN FLYING SQUIRREL

A FREQUENT NIGHT-TIME VISITOR

Glaucomys sabrinus

While similar in habits and appearance to the Southern Flying squirrel
its tail is longer and it is slightly heavier.

A fold of loose, furred skin from ankle to wrist
allows them to glide up to 125 feet from a high take-off.
Age to 13 years.
