WHITE ADMIRAL BUTTERFLY

Limenitis arthemis
Brushfoots: family Nymphalidae

Wingspan 3 - 4 inches (75 - 101 mm)

In the sunshine the wings are folded..
Hybridizes with Red Spotted Purple.

Food: Wild Cherry, Poplar and Aspen

In the shade it opened its wings.
