| They turn from pink to white. A regular blue blueberry is in the background. |

| The plants don't seem any different as far as leaves go. |

| They have stuck pretty close to the spruce edge. |
 |
| A few are venturing into the lichen. |
 |
| The "old" marker trees are falling, so each year the 'patch' becomes a little harder to "aim" for. |
 |
| Still enough 'open' space for maybe another decade? of growth. |
